If you dont like blueberry pancakes or waffles...like i mean full berries in the thing...then u dont like breakfasts

We are from New Jersey visiting a good friend in Greensboro. We had breakfast at Danny's, and everything was delicious. We had eggs and omelets, and they came with grits and biscuits. Everything had a nice buttery taste, and the biscuits were large and perfectly flaky and crispy on the outside. Prices were unbelievable. Less than $20 for all 3 of us, including drinks! Very cheap for us northerners!

The "Just Right Breakfast Place" serving very good crisp bacon, fluffy warm biscuits, perfect scrambled eggs, ideal hashbrowns that were not shredded type, and great sweet tea...filled often and outstanding waitstaff and greeting from restaurant owner/mgr.-Danny. Thanks and see you soon!

A lot of good food cheap

Good food but Danny pushes you out

First, if you're not going to take credit cards, put a notice on the door or window at the entrance. I rarely carry cash now, and was surprised by the cash only policy after ordering and, therefore, and walk to the gas station nearby to use an ATM. Second, Danny was pretty rude when, after finally getting cash, I went to pay my bill. It felt like I was bothering him to take my money. And asking for a "to go" cup for my coffee seemed to be a great annoyance to him. Third, the food was just so-so. If you're going for the "hole in the wall" diner that doesn't cater to customers with excellent service, the food had better be top notch. It wasn't.

Love the food and the staff.

Nice relaxing meal at a good price. I had the sausage omlet... big with plenty of sausage. I had the milk gravy and biscuit as my side. Could not finish it so you will not leave hungry.

Food was good and good service.

Home cooking, reasonable pricing on food and service with a smile. Only thing I wish is that their parking lot was bigger.

CASH ONLY! Only open for breakfast and lunch. Great small place. Had an omelette, pork chop with eggs, gravy and biscuits. We both enjoyed our meal and Danny was right there overseeing things. Wait staff was friendly and efficient. Food came fast! Definitely going back and can't wait to try lunch. Menu pics follow but they're not the best pics. Even got a rose before I left

We went there at 10:30 on Saturday, busy time, but we could sit down the table less than 5 minutes waiting.Waitress is very friendly & professional.The food was delicious & cheap.We went to many place, but Danny's is the best. Fast & good service, delicious food and price.I highly recommend this restaurant.

Visiting from out of town and we will definitely be back! Fast, friendly, delicious! Our waitress did a great job. Whole place was packed and everything flowed smoothly!

I love Danny's Restuarant, the food is good and the people are very nice especially Ms. Claudia. I would recommend this place to anyone. Saturday they close at noon, promply, so they only serve breakfast.

Love Danny's for what it is: a warm friendly place where many locals gather for tasty food. You can have burger, sandwiches food and be well satisfied, I am sure. For me it is veggies with country style steak and gravy. Go for it.

The owner Danny checked us out himself. Felt like a king visiting another king in his pancake and biscuit palace. Food is perfect for the price, waitstaff very pleasant. Great spot

Cold home fries. Good when they were hot. They need to put a sign on the door outside about the Cash or check only. I won't be back. I never have cash. Who does?

Delicious, Home cooked food, at an incredibly fair price. Food just like mom used to make. I strongly recommend trying once, you'll will definitely not be disappointed, and most likely will return again and again. Enjoy!!!

Great place for the over the 70 year old crowd. Owner refused to melt cheese in scrambled eggs because he considered that an omelette. Served cold shredded cheese on top of eggs. Cranky with no idea of customer service. Better options to be had. I'm 60.

As most of my reviews are about breakfast places you'll see I love breakfast. I go elsewhere to try places and see if they can touch the gold standard which is Danny's. Go try this place but save me a seat!

Just moving in down the street. Tried Danny's for lunch yesterday and breakfast this morning. Great food at a good price and fast Service. This will be my regular spot.

A quick consistently yummy lunch on the run. One of my faithful go to places. Remember cash or check only.....no debit or credit. The prices are super fair, so I don't hesitate to grab my breakfast or lunch cash in hand.

Local joint where locals eat. Friendly staff laid back atmosphere and descent price.

A hidden gem in GSO. My first visit but Michelle made me feel like I'd been coming in for years. Great tenderloin breakfast plate. They could double the price and it would still be a great deal.

Great place for breakfast and lunch !!

One of the best breakfast and lunch diners out there. However, this is not a place to drink coffee for two hours while you read the paper. The staff is always hustling and they do a good job. It's small so come in and eat,. Then please MOVE IT ON! I need your table.

Owner is not so friendly, food is just ok, pricey

We went here for breakfast we sat down at 11:45. The waitress never came to our table until 12 then we couldn’t get drinks because they refused to brew coffee or change out the sprite. The owner told us that we were lucky that he served us because we ordered after 12. What a crock! He is a penny pincher that is only concerned about his bottom line not the customers. This was my last visit to this shabby establishment.

Warning! They only take cash or check and you only realize that at the register. That, coupled with mediocre food (green beans straight out of the can?) , cramped quarters and geriatric crowd makes for an unpleasant dining experience. The very LEAST they could do is put a sign at the door warning customers of their cash only policy. I tried the chicken and dumplings- or should I say dumplings and dumplings- and my husband had eggs and “hash browns”. They were actually breakfast potatoes and not hash browns. Ugh!

Food is alright. The waitresses are great. BUT the owner is greedy as hell. He never leaves the register and no one runs up orders but the owner. Constantly counting the money in the register. WHY?
